This is a Language Arts Assessment for the Words of the Week in Wonders Unit 3 Week 4. There is a mix of questions where students need to do the following: spell 6 words of the week, use the words in context (with a word bank) then they will need to use two challenge words from the week to write a complete sentence. This can replace a spelling quiz and provide a great overall language arts grade for each week.

There are 11 groups of words. Each group of words has a minimum of 10 different words. Group 1 starts off just just needing to look at the first letter. While group 11 you will have to look at the 5th letter. the student should arrange each group of words in alphabetical order. Once they are arranged in order have your child read the words to an adult first and then write the words. Have your child do the same list for 5 days. This will increase their vocabulary and improve their spelli
