This is wonderful because you do not have to pass out fact practice papers daily!
I time my children for 1 minute (they use a pencil), and then I give them one additional minute (they use a crayon). This helps ease them into the idea of being timed. They see how much they would have actually gotten correct in pencil if they would have been timed.
