A recipe for brownies is given. Students are expected to double, half, and triple the recipe by changing the measures of each ingredient. Also, to alter the recipe to use 3 eggs (multiply all ingredients by 1.5), use 24 tablespoons of cocoa (multiply by 4), and make 60 brownies (multiply by 5). Students are also given the opportunity to practice converting between cups, tablespoons, and teaspoons.
