Here is quick fun activity to do with kids. I used this after we began talking about shapes and area. It was a good lesson to teach how using strategy is a great way to solve a difficult problem.
You could also use this as a great homework activity.

Every possible permutation from given to missing side is used, and problems include ones where students are given integers that they must both multiply and divide by radical expressions.
