Here is a shape sorting mat. I have included 3 shapes that give students the most trouble. It only includes the basic shape. For an extension you could add real objects for them to sort on the mat. If you would like them to cut and glue shapes, I have included a page with basic shapes for students to cut and glue on the mat. If needed this could be a homework activity for parents to work on basic shapes with their child. Rectangle, Rhombus, and Square are the shapes I included on the mat
