Linear Equations Memory Game
This fun memory (or matching) game is a great review activity for students over linear equations. Topics covered include forms of linear equations, calculating intercepts, vertical and horizontal lines, parallel and perpendicular lines, and graphing linear inequalities. To speed play, it is helpful to print the first page on one color of paper and the second page (of matches) on another. Multiple copies of this editable Excel file can be downloaded to create a classroom set.

I built this Excel document to show what happens to lines and tables when you change variables and constants within an equations. There are three sheets:
y = mx+b
ax^2 + bx +c =0
c = p(1-r)^t
For instance, on the linear equation sheet, you can change m & b separately to see changes in the table and the graph. You can trace all equations. Much fun can be had.

Compound Inequality Graphing Practice
This excel spreadsheet includes a sheet of practice for both AND and OR compound inequalities. There are also three sheets of blank number lines, so that a teacher could write their own inequalities for students to graph.

Point-Slope Form Turkey Hunt (Thanksgiving)
use this activity with your students to practice Point-Slope form. Worksheet comes as an excel file with different options. You can have students draw given lines that hit each of the graphics on graph and find the intersecting point OR have students create their own lines that hit each of the graphics and write an equation for those lines.
This is a quickly put together activity, I will go back and edit it for beauty and glamour over the break weekend :)

Which Federal Reserve Did My Bill Come From?
A tally sheet that is a great pre-cursor to any field trip or discussion on the Federal Reserve. Kiddos can learn how to identify which reserve the bill in thier wallet/purse comes from and over a period of time (determined by you), can tally where the bills are from that they and their parents use for transactions.
