Fraction Craft - Turtle Fractions
Combine a math lesson (fractions - halves, thirds, quarters, fifths or sixths) with craft and creativity!This packet will provide you with template pieces to make a cute 'Fraction Turtle' for classroom display! Students will color their chosen fraction turtle. They will then label their turtle shell to show the fractions as equal parts. 1st Grade Greater Than Less Than Turtle
Do you need an activity to help your students identify numbers that are greater than or less than 20? This is a perfect activity! My first graders loved it and did a very good job coloring the parts of the turtle according to the directions. You will want to model for the children how to look at each number and refer to their number chart (if needed) to check their answers. This paper is easy to grade, too. The answer key is included.
