This is a quiz covering the basic trigonometric functions using
SOH-CAH-TOA and the special right triangle formulas to fill in the trig table. There are also two problems for students to graph an angle, one is in radians and the other is in degrees. This could be used in a Geometry class, or for a review before starting trigonometry in a PreCal class. I have also included a key with the answers. Students are expected to write these formulas without a calculator.
10 Problems
2 Circle
2 Ellipse
2 Hyperbola
2 Parabola
4 Word Problems (Parabaloid of Revolution, Ellipse, Ellipse Bridge, Circular Swimming Pool)
Tests Graphing Skills and Obtaining Information from a Graph as well as real world application.

The night before a quiz I always give a Last Practice for homework then send the students the answers - how do you study math, you do math. This is the Last Practice for graphing rational expressions by noting their roots, holes, vertical asymptotes and domain from standard to form.
This beginning derivatives quiz covers the constant, sum, difference, power, product, and quotient rules. It does NOT have trigonometric, exponenential, or logarithmic functions and the Chain Rule is not needed.
The following are included in the document:
Logarithmic Function Quiz
Limits Day 1 Homework
Limit Quiz 1
Lesson Plan: PSSA Review/Introduction to Logarithmic Functions
10 word problems involving vectors to find velocity/direction ( r and theta ) or finding components ( x and y )

This is a graphic organizer that can be used as an activity in an algebra 2 or precalculus course for students to practice the vocabulary of Degree and Leading Coefficient of polynomials. Degree and Leading Coefficient are to be written on the lines and examples (provided by teacher or student-derived) go inside the ellipses. Students could use them to quiz each other, can share them on a document camera or post on a wall after being decorated. It is intended to be cut in half to make two copies

The night before a quiz I always assign a Last Practice then I send the students the answers via email - how do you study math, you do math. This is the Last Practice on graphing rational expression by finding their y-intercepts, horizontal or slant (oblique) asymptotes based on whether the rational was proper or improper. The students had to add those features to the given graph. It's a nice application of polynomial division and graphing lines.
This is a short worksheet/quiz for a Pre-Calculus class that covers solving different types of radical equations and inequalities. Answer sheet also included.
