This is a fun STEM activity. You can use regular candy corns or any version of the candy. You will need toothpicks, and choose sturdy kind with pointy ends The flat kind of toothpicks don't work. You will also want to have extra toothpicks because they do break. The candy corns split when they are stabbed, so encourage the kids to squish them back together. I've also done this with fruit snacks, Dots/gumdrops, and marshmallows, and they work a little bit better.
