This activity allows students to search youtube for fun videos of objects in free fall and then to use the videos to find the time, final velocity and vertical height from where the object was released. This can be assigned as a project, homework or class activity in small groups. You could expand on this and have students add vectors to screen shots from the videos. Ideal time is about 45 minutes or more depending on how many examples you would want the students to have in their presentations.
