The worksheet “Analyzing Non-verbal Communication” asks students to reflect on other people’s body language and gestures to help them understand how much information can be conveyed without speaking. It can be given as a homework assignment either in anticipation of the lesson or to reinforce it afterwards. Students will begin the lesson with a brief PPT introduction to non-verbal communication that includes a warm-up activity and an analysis of a scene from the movie “How to Train Your Dragon.
