M&M Activity Bundle
This is an activity to review ratios as well as converting between decimals, fractions and percent. I tend to use this activity around Halloween (skittles can be substituted for allergies) but non edible items such as pony beads could be used as well. This worksheet can be modified for different levels by controlling the total amount of M & Ms given (or used by) the students. The Cost of the 12 Days of Christmas
Students are given the cost per item and need to find the total cost for the item for 1 day and each day the item is given. Then students calculate the total cost of the 364 gifts given. Afterwards, the students calculate the percent change of each item and the total cost. This includes the years 2010, 2013, and 2014.
