My name is Sophia Akhiyat, and I am passionate about dermatology and community outreach, especially through education. I created this module along with Samra Adeni, an elementary school teacher who works through Teach For America. I gave this lecture to 3rd graders and received excellent feedback from the children. We thought this may be a useful, 30-minute module for other teachers who would like to spend time on a health-related topic. We hope this can be of great use to you in the classroom!
