For this assignment, students will practice surface area and volume calculations for cubes, spheres and rectangular solids. There are also application questions that focus on how cell size impacts cell efficiency and function. This print & go activity can be used to teach cell size for the first time or can be used to reinforce the content. It can be implemented in Biology, Advanced Biology or AP Biology courses.
