Every single day when kids file into class, the first thing they ask is "what are we doing today?" It's exhausting answering this question, but as a fellow type "A" personality, the anxiety and need for a routine is real. Each day, my kids file into class read any announcements (i.e. upcoming quizzes), see their word of the day, the agenda, and homework all on a neat slide (color coded for different grade levels!).
