Multiplication Whole Number Rules: Brochure
I created this tool to help my students build their independence and confidence when learning multiplication. It has been a total game changer! My students call it their “cheat sheet.” I’ve also included an anchor chart with strategies for multiplying as well as a multiplication chart for checking work. Dream Vacation Project
Brainstorm with the students several places in the U.S. that they would like to visit. Divide students into groups. Then allow 15-20 minutes for the groups to work together and choose their destinations. Remind them to consider time and amount of money they have to spend. Each group should choose a different destination. At this point give each student a copy of the Dream Vacation Rules sheet and have them get started.
