Array City - Teaching Plan and Student Handouts
Array City is an idea that floats around on Pinterest. The basic concept is that students create buildings in which the windows are an array. What I did was take this concept and organize it into a student-friendly organizer, to help the project run more independently. I also added an observation component. The words are animated to keep your students engaged. Have your students use a part-part mat and red/ yellow counters to follow along with the Power Point!

Addition for Pre-K and Kindergarten
This is a fun mini lesson that can be done as an intro to adding and review for pre-K, kindergarten and lower level students. The fish float onto the screen, allowing students to count to arrive at a solution. After all the fish are counted, the answer appears. The teacher will have to click to bring the fish onto the slide. This allows everyone to stay on track. There are 10 slides and students are adding up to ten. The order is random. Great Common Core Tool and nothing to print!
