Spanish Reading Comprehension Packet {Cuentos Folkloricos y Leyendas}
I adapted these folktales specifically for Spanish immersion learners so that they could practice reading closely, answering questions, and looking in the text for evidence to support their thinking. This packet also addresses various Common Core standards for fiction reading.
There are four folktales included from early cultures of Latin America. There is a sheet of questions included with each passage. The questions have the common core strand addressed next to them. I designed the passages
