Create Your Own Playground
An extension project that can be used for individuals, small groups or whole class. Designed for Bridges in Math unit 6 (geometry). Students have to create a playground of their own using geometric shapes while also calculating the area and perimeter of each item in their playground. Kids have fun imagining the best playground while honing higher level skills and vocabulary.
