Strategy for Motivating Students with Special Needs: Surprise Box Strategy
This is a very simple routine I use to motivate my students (with moderate to severe needs) to identify something such as their name or picture. I use this during my morning Calendar time every day, however, it is a versatile strategy that you can use for many different subjects.
