DISCUSSION QUESTIONS - Lang B theme: Identities; topic: cultural diversity
This is a quick-and-easy, 8-slide, ppt with 7 discussion questions concerning cultural diversity. Students are required to say "Je suis d'accord" or "Je ne suis pas d'accord" and give a reason why. I started this in partners, requiring 3 min. of conversation per topic. After we went through all the questions, students had to stand up, and I'd show each question again. There was a "d'accord" and a "pas d'accord" side of the classroom, and students had to go to the side that fit their opinion.

Use "Le Zapping" video Unit 4A for the audio/visual for this quiz. This quiz is set to MYP standards, and the questions are set up by Strand 1, Strand 2 and Strand 3 to make it easy for kids/teacher to see the break-down. At this point, my school is on Phase 4 for MYP grading standards, so the quiz is entirely in French and the directions ask for answers in French. This is for the IB Social Relationships topic in FRENCH. Page 1 - A writing exercise (5 prompts) about how your identity would be different if.... It focuses on the conditional tense. Cyrano de Bergerac - Résumé du film + Quiz
This is a summary of the 1990 film Cyrano de Bergerac, in French.Note: It is suggested as an activity after viewing the film.It is suitable for 3rd year French level students and of course is entirely in French.
