About the store
Welcome to Creating Inspired Learning! Every great lesson starts with an idea that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, or makes a child light up with an "I can do this!" moment. That's what Creating Inspired Learning is all about. This store isn't built around a single niche or trend—it's a collection of ideas that have inspired me, the incredible teachers I've had the privilege of working alongside, and, most importantly, the students who continue to inspire me every day. I hope you'll find something here that inspires you too. I'm a veteran educator with more than 20 years of experience in elementary education. After spending many years in the classroom, I transitioned into instructional coaching, where I now serve as a Teaching and Learning Facilitator. My work includes coaching teachers, leading professional development, supporting curriculum and instruction, and helping schools build effective MTSS systems. Even though my role has changed, my passion for creating meaningful learning experiences has never left. Teaching and creating teaching resources has always felt like much more than a job, it has become one of my creative outlets. I love taking ideas that inspire me and turning them into practical, engaging resources that help teachers and students thrive. Most of the products in this store were first created for my own students, shared with fellow teachers, or designed while coaching educators. I create because I love the process of creating, and I hope each resource inspires you as much as it inspired me to make it. My hope is that every resource you download helps create a classroom where students feel successful, teachers feel confident, and learning becomes something everyone looks forward to. Thank you so much for visiting Creating Inspired Learning. I truly appreciate your support, and I hope you leave feeling inspired, with an idea, a lesson, or a resource that makes your teaching just a little brighter. Happy teaching!

Teaching style

I believe the best learning happens when students feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn. I love creating engaging, well-planned lessons that spark curiosity, encourage active participation, and build confidence. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels valued, challenged, and supported, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I want students to leave each day believing in themselves, loving to learn, and knowing they can do hard things.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I'm grateful for the many opportunities education has given me over the past 20+ years. From earning my master's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Science of Reading micro-credential to becoming a Writing Teacher Consultant and serving as an adjunct instructor of early literacy at Southern Oregon University, each experience has helped shape who I am as an educator. My favorite moments, however, are seeing teachers leave a workshop inspired and watching students thrive because of it.

My own education history

I earned my MAT and my BA in History from Southern Oregon University

Additional biographical information

I'm an Oregon native, a wife, and a proud mom of two. Outside of education, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, cooking, crafting, and exploring new creative writing ideas. I love finding inspiration in everyday life, and many of those ideas eventually make their way into the resources I create.
