As a third generation Chinese-American born and raised in Boston, I'm passionate about integrating multicultural diversity and awareness in my lessons and focus on helping students become Global citizens and lifelong learners.

I'm a firm believer in utilizing the philosophy of Growth Mindset in order to build resiliency and perseverance in my students. I enjoy teaching students about history in order to learn from our past mistakes and become a kinder and more empathetic future generation.

I received my B.A. from Wellesley College and my M.Ed. from Lesley University. Prior to becoming a teacher in 2013, I worked as a fashion designer for seven years in Massachusetts and New York.

I enjoy traveling and have had the opportunity to paint murals with children in Morocco and teach English, fashion design and traditional Chinese dance to students in Cambodia. I also love to bake and dance (occasionally at the same time!).
