Welcome to 60 Minute ArtThe early 1800s were the age of epic quests. After the U.S. made the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, President Jefferson handed Lewis and Clark a “go explore stuff” pass and sent them west to figure out what was beyond Ohio. They weren’t just mapping rivers and mountains, they were collecting data, meeting Indigenous nations, and trying to find a water route to the Pacific. Welcome to 60 Minute ArtA painting more mind-bending than a 6–7 meme? In the 1900s, nothing twisted reality quite like Surrealism, the art movement that said, “dreams matter as much as real life.” Note to teachers: we understand that the hands on the clocks do not actually point to 6-7 (rather, they point to 7-6). Please forgive our artistic license and we hope your students won't even notice (do students even read analog anymore?). Introducing 60 Minute Art Coloring PagesThank you for choosing

Welcome to 60 Minute ArtIf games featuring collectable critters had existed during the Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci definitely would have picked something that was fluffy, super cute, and could evolve into many different forms. Teaching style

Artists are both visual and experience-based learners. 60 Minute Art embraces a "show, not tell" approach—just follow along with each step to create your own masterpiece. No stuffy history lessons, no old masters to study, no tedious spheres or value scales to render. Instead, dive right in and start drawing! As you create, your excitement for your potential will grow, making you more eager to explore the “boring” fundamentals once you see why they matter. But for now, roll up your sleeves, grab your supplies, and let’s create!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Meghan's work has been exhibited internationally. Accolades include a "21 Under 31" feature from Southwest Art Magazine, a purchase award and recognition from the internationally renowned Art Renewal Center and inclusion and cover art featured in "Strokes of Genius: The Best of Drawing." This year, Meghan is a finalist in the Portrait Society of America’s 27th annual International Portrait Competition in Washington DC, the world’s premier exhibit for the best in portraiture.
