Bienvenue a la page de Mme Dubs! I am a teacher with experience teaching French and English from grades 1 to 8 in a district in Ontario, Canada for 4 years. I also have online learning expertise developed from Oxford learning tutoring French, English, and Math for grades 1 to 10 during the pandemic. My students look forward to learning with me through fun and engaging activities and I hope to share the very same with you here.

Experience

Teaching style

As a teacher, I am very hands-on and like to focus on language acquisition through memory techniques that include both oral and written components. French learning for my students includes critical thinking and understanding by using translation as a tool while incorporating new vocabulary into each lesson. I also like to sprinkle in as much fun as I can during my lessons!
