For the new 2nd grade social studies standards, I have created this Juliette Gordon Low assessment along with a study guide for parents to use at home to prepare.

This is a fun, engaging Georgia Regions review game the kids use with hand buzzers. I usually use as a review right before the assessment. I divide my class into two teams, two lines. They buzz in when they know the answer for the slide. The game really reinforces those facts and the kids have fun while doing it. Enjoy!

Fun ppt game to review and reinforce capitalization of proper nouns. My class loved this game and wanted to play it over and over again. Set up 2 buzzers and have two lines of kids. Also included the spelling lists that I used which correlates directly with the Benchmark phonics program. The homework can also be used in your Daily 5 word works centers.
