About the store
Hi! I’m Emily, a high school Spanish teacher and World Language department chair with 20+ years of classroom experience. I create proficiency-based Spanish resources that help students move beyond memorized vocabulary and isolated grammar practice toward real communication. My materials are designed for real classrooms: students who need structure, teachers who need practical routines, and programs working toward ACTFL-aligned proficiency goals. You’ll find resources that support comprehensible input, interpersonal communication, presentational writing and speaking, retrieval practice, vocabulary growth, reflection, and scaffolded input-to-output tasks. I believe students need repeated opportunities to understand, ask, answer, explain, react, support opinions, and build stronger sentences over time. My goal is to make proficiency-based teaching feel purposeful, manageable, and realistic for busy middle and high school Spanish teachers.

Teaching style

My teaching style is structured, student-centered, and proficiency-based. I believe students grow when they have clear supports, meaningful input, repeated practice, and lots of opportunities to use Spanish for real communication.
