I have used his pledge as a daily part of my class morning routine. After having a beginning of the year introduction and whole group discussion about bullying, I teach this pledge and post it in our class. Students recite it daily and it becomes part of their practice.

Use these during carpet time/wrap-up meeting, for use on bulletin boards, or to decorate your classroom exit door. I have these cards cut and laminated, and posted on my exit door. My students and I say goodbye each day using different languages. It’s a simple way to add culture to your daily classroom routine!
This is a self-assessment resource for students in grades 1-3. The student friendly emoji rubric allows younger students to rate their performance. I use this personal report card for parent-teacher conferences, along with the regular report card. As a teacher, I find self-assessments like these provide me with important feedback from my students about their learning.
