These expanded form task cards are perfect for you to use in 4th grade during math workshop (or other times). These cards will help your students meet the common core objective: read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
If you teach 5th grade and your students need a basic review, or if you teach 3rd grade and you need a challenge activity, these task cards may also work for you.

This activity/task card set comes with 15 task cards that each have a number in standard form and it's also written in expanded form. One value in the expanded form is missing. The students will be telling the value of that number.
There is a skill sheet included where the students write the value in the given box. They staple their work to the back. .... This activity is great for a grade.
An answer sheet is also included.
These task cards provide the perfect math workshop activity, but they can also be used as a simple center or simply a cooperative activity done in partners as a whole class.
Use it however you would like in your classroom.
