I am excited to share with you my March Math Journal Prompts! The prompts center around St. Patrick's Day, Dr. Seuss' Birthday, Read Across America Day, and the first day of Spring! Students should be writing and discussing math daily. Math journaling allows learning opportunities to put math concepts into pictures and words. Discussion about these journal entries promotes critical thinking skills.

The journal tickets included in this packet are ready to cut and use for your students! Each page has multiple copies of the same prompt for easy copying and cutting. Simply cut each prompt and give to your students to paste in their math journals.

With this download you will receive 30 pages that include 27 math journal prompts to promote mathematical problem solving and reasoning skills for the month of March. This packet is designed for Second grade skill levels but other grade levels could use these as well.
