I had such trouble finding cute clipart to use on my Job Chart. Because so many of my kindergarten kids are non-readers, I wanted the graphics to really represent the jobs. "Give Me Five" is a popular way to get the attention of your class. Here's a fun little game to strengthen number sense and counting skills while celebrating the 100th Day of School. Working in teams of two, each team needs one die, one game sheet and two different colored crayons. Taking turns, the partners roll their die, read the number, and color squares on the game sheet to represent the number they rolled. The first team to reach lOO wins! Great for use in a math center or as a table game.

A great first day of school icebreaker for students to get to know their new classmates. Kindergarten and first grade students will strengthen their phonemic awareness and syllabication skills as they celebrate Thanksgiving. Students color and cut out pictures of Thanksgiving item (such as a turkey and a pilgrim) and glue them into the correct column on the graph based on how many syllables the word has.
