I have taught Math for 18 years to children and teenagers from Kindergarten through 11th Grades. I am an educational speaker at several conferences, some of which include the MMC and ICTM. I have also initiated a Math Enrichment Club for Grades 1 - 3. Currently, I am teaching high school math. When possible, I assist with math coaching at various schools throughout the Chicago area.
I absolutely love teaching and love children! I am a natural-born teacher who is passionate about education and how children learn. I practically came out of the womb as a teacher! My ultimate goal is to inspire and help other teachers educate children conceptually and with meaning. It is my hope and dream to make a difference in the math education world by encouraging and working with others to bring real life math into the classrooms and into the homes of students.
I am a member of the National Council of Teachers in Mathematics and have presented at several conferences to other educators. I have been nominated for the Golden Apple Award.
