About the store
I taught Kindergarten for 14 years, but my teaching journey actually began in 2003 in a 6th grade classroom teaching English and Reading. God knew what he was doing when he encouraged me to make the huge jump to kindergarten, and I loved spending my days in the exciting world of 5 year olds! I am thrilled to say I am now a reading and math intervention teacher, and I have enjoyed helping many teachers grow in their own education journey with these classroom resources.
I am very excited that I get this opportunity to share the incredible resources that make my Kindergarten classroom so successful. It is a joy to my heart and such an encouragement when I hear that I have helped other kiddos out there too!

Build a Snowman Literacy Worksheets
This literacy worksheet mini-unit, Build a Snowman, works on CVC words and rhyming words. In Set 1 students will read CVC words, write the words, and find the matching pictures. In Set 2 students will look at pictures and write the CVC words on a crossword puzzle. In Set 3 students will match rhyming word pictures. This is aligned with the Common Core Standards.

Build a Sundae, Literacy Centers
This literacy set is perfect for center time. The activities work on uppercase/lowercase letter matching, initial sounds, and rhyming.
Activity 1: Build a Literacy Sundae - The students will match the uppercase and lowercase letters (bowl and scoop of ice cream) then find the cherry that has a picture with the same initial sound.

VERY MUSICAL!!! I was once asked...."How often do you sing down there?" My answer....."All the time!" I love music and movement, so we are up and actively learning every minute we can.
