This is an eight page unit to use with the study of Food Chains. Students will work in groups of three to research Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers. When finished, the group will analyze and decide which, if any, is the most importantnpart of the Food Chain. Students will present their findings as a group and individually. The third week in September is Farm Animals Awareness Week and this unit is intended to introduce young children to the following animals: cow, pig, horse, sheep, and chicken.
