Experience

I taught for 38 years in Elementary Education. I was on the Math Best Practices Team for Minnesota, the Reading Committee, MEEP, the Sci/Math Team, an IGE Team Leader, the computer specialist for our elementary school for 28 years, as well as many other committees and teams throughout my years as a teacher. I retired in 2007.

Teaching style

I always followed the curriculum for our school but wrote my own units whenever possible. I was a hands on teacher and wanted my students to be thinkers and problem solvers.

BS Degree in Elementary Education. Took many graduate classes, especially in reading, math and computer. Participated in workshops, etc. whenever possible. Presented workshops in reading, math and computer.
