This is an activity that teaches students how a Bill becomes a Law. I have students cut out each thing and glue it to construction paper. Then we take each picture and box and tie them together with a string. In the end, the students have a tall sequence of events reviewing how a Bill becomes a law. It really breaks down a complicated process!

This is a final test for the book Bridge to Terabithia. There are character matching questions, multiple-choice questions, and short answer reflective questions.

This is an interactive powerpoint that takes 50 summarization strategies from Rick Wormeli's book and breaks them down into simple to use slides. All teachers (or students) need to do is click on a square in the powerpoint and it takes them to the strategy. This is a great teacher training tool or for use in the college classroom.

This "While You Were Out" sheet has boxes for subjects so you can type in and make multiple copies if you have 1+ missing students for the day. It is colorful and can be signed by a parent upon its return. If fits right in with missing work that you are sending home.

This is a powerpoint that starts at 10 minutes and counts down until it expires. This is a great, easy to use timer that you can bring up on a computer, smart board, or TV and allow students to watch their time while it ticks down. Never have stragglers again!

This is an alert I send home when something is missing. It tells the date of the assignment, what the assignment was, and asks parents to sign and return with the completed homework.
