Description
Research suggests that a number line is not appropriate for PreK-1st grade when learning math. Instead they recommend the use of a Number Path. This number path has 1-20 with the color changing every five to emphasize the benchmarks of 5 and 10. This document is meant to be printed on 11x17 paper. You can laminate each individual number path and tape to students' desks to use just like they would have used a number line.

LOVE these for use in math groups or independent practice. We use them for number recognition, numbers before/after, adding/subtracting, teen number recognition, etc. Such a great resource!!!
My struggling 2nd graders understood this number path better than a number line.
Thank you for this resource! So helpful for my students!
Exactly what I needed for students to practice solving word problems.
I was very happy to find these number paths. They are so helpful when teaching students to use the number path.
Perfect for my needs. I wish the number spaces were wider to fit a cube.
Worked very well
Love the color change!
