Description
Is it the 100th day of school? I found that most of the activities out there are for younger students. I created a couple of activities so that my older students could still participate in celebrating the 100th day of school. In this activity, students are given a riddle and equations sheet. They solve the equations and color in the corresponding number on the 100's chart. After solving all of the equations, the answer to the riddle appears on the chart. The students really liked it. They thought they knew the answer and were surprised when they were finished and the answer was not what they thought it was. There are 4 riddles in the download. I made 4 different so that I could give groups of 4 different riddles and they could share with one another when complete. This activity however, is not exclusive to the 100th day. It can be used for workstations or early finisher enrichment.
