Description
Subtraction Split is a two step algorithm. In the first stage each number is rewritten in expanded form (partial sums).
In the second stage the place values are subtracted from each other.
This product contains 8 game boards. There are four different game boards each for two digit and three digit subtraction. The pages can be printed two sided, with the game on one side and the game title on the other. These game boards can be used to play connect four. Students will work in partners, taking turns solving problems. Partners must check each other’s work. If correct, a colored chip covers the problem. The goal is to get four in a row in any direction. This game is a fun way to practice two and three digit subtraction. It can be played over and over again!
