This is a comprehensive layout of all the first grade standards to be taught for the whole school year. Standards are listed week by week for each quarter. This guide follows the Cobb County Schools 2013-2014 calendar, report card and content area pacing from the district. Important dates, such as furlough days, holidays, professional development days, and conference week, etc. are noted. This guide includes math, science, social studies, reading, language, writing, and health standards. I have included the standard number with description. For the more broad standards, I have indicated in bold font, the parts that are to be explicitly taught during mini-lessons for each given week. For the math standards, I indicated the quarters in which each standard is taught, so you will know when mastery of each skill is expected.
