Description
This digital and printable resource aligns with grade 2 iReady Ⓡ Math Unit 2 Lesson 6. The focus is adding two- digit numbers. The strategies used are base ten blocks, adding tens and ones, going to the next ten, using an open number line, and quick drawing.
This product does not need to be used in conjunction with the ReadyⓇ Math program. It is a stand alone product and contains everything you need to teach this strategy.

The slides are fun and engaging. They provide opportunities for explicit instruction, oracy activities, informal assessments and partner work.
The anchor charts can be projected as reminders and learning aids when students are doing work or they can be printed out and added to your focus wall.
The Learning Mats are an excellent tool to engage students during whole group instruction. They help students stay focused and also provide structure during Turn and Talks or partner work. The scaffolding makes learning accessible for all students.
The activity / game provides a fun engaging way to practice the skills taught and build skills.
Prep is easy. Most items are in B&W. Simply print and place in protective sleeves. No need to laminate. Cards require a bit of prep - laminating if desired and cutting.
