Description

Are you looking for engaging end of year review for 2nd grade math? These 4 sets of critical thinking math riddle cards for addition, subtraction, & place value will enrich your math curriculum and keep even your early finishers engaged in fun practice!

You'll save more than 30% when you buy these resources in this bundle!

Here are the resources that are included.

✅ Two Digit Numbers Math Riddle Activities | Monsters

✅ Addition, Subtraction, and Place Value Riddles | Pirates

✅ Addition, Subtraction, and Place Value Riddles | Soccer

✅ Addition, Subtraction, and Place Value through 120 | Rockstars

Here's how math riddle task cards work.

On each card, there is a grid of numbers with possible answers. Your students use a variety of math skills to eliminate numbers until only one is left. Because the cards in this bundle each have nine possible answers, it's trickier to decide how many and which choices a clue will eliminate, so there's lots of critical thinking, attention to detail, and mental math required!

Here are the skills addressed in this set:

♦ Add and subtract two-digit numbers, with and without regrouping

♦ Compare numbers using > and < symbols

♦ Distinguish even and odd numbers

♦ Know value of US coins and use in adding and subtracting

♦ Mental math

What does this download include?

♦ 96 printable riddle cards in both color and b/w

♦ All of the riddles in full-page format, to display when your students enter the classroom, or to use as a warm-up/ review or quick number talk before your math lesson.

♦ Recording pages and answer keys for all three sets

♦ Four one-page board games for extra practice.

Here's what teachers like you have said about math riddle task cards!

✅ "My kids specifically ask for the riddle cards. I'd say that they are a hit in my classroom."

✅ "Fun way to get kids talking in math and solving together!"

✅ "This is one of my favorites! It is challenging but so great!"

✅ "Just what I was looking for! The clues help my students think about how numbers are connected and it engages them to solve the mystery number! Great resource."
