How to Use:
This bundle can be used to teach, review, and then quiz on the math skill of 3-digit multiplication. This unit usually takes me between one and two weeks to complete. What I love about this resource is that it takes minimal prep and has everything I need to teach and assess the skill of 2x3-Digit & 3x3 Digit Multiplication! I recommend teaching in the order provided below.
Practice Pages: These worksheets help teach students how to solve 3-digit multiplication problems with step by step practice equations. There are 4 pages included that vary in difficulty. I use these at the start of my unit so students can better visualize the steps long multiplication. Each page has an answer key with the work provided so students can better understand their mistakes.
Task Cards/SCOOT: In the middle of the 3-digit multiplication unit I use the 26 task cards to review long multiplication with my students. To do this I tape the task cards around our class and have students work with partners to solve all the problems. When they are done I will review their answers and circle any problem they need to try again. The group that can solve all 26 task cards correctly first wins! Answer key provided.
Study Guide & Quizzes: At the end of the 3-digit multiplication unit I will either review the study guide in class or send it home with the students. There are 2 quiz versions provided in case I need to reassess the students. Each quiz is 10 points for easy grade calculating! Answer keys provided.
