Description
2nd grade students are expected to add and subtract to 1000 using place value strategies. This DIGITAL unit takes a step toward that goal by subtracting 3-digit numbers with sums to 1000 with and without regrouping.
All materials in this unit are for use with Google slides! The lessons, independent practice and assessments can all be used virtually!
Students will use virtual manipulatives including base ten blocks and place value disks. Additionally, students will use the representational model of drawing dots on a place value chart to subtract. Students will relate these models to a written method.
