Description

Kindergarten Counting and Cardinality Task Cards, Kindergarten Math:

These 24 task cards aligned to Common Core standard K.CC.4 are perfect for helping students understand counting. Several types of questions help you thoroughly assess your students' mastery of this Counting and Cardinality skill.

K.CC.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.

When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.

Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.

Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.

Task cards are great for a whole-class game, math centers/stations, fast finishers, extra practice, homework, scavenger hunt, quiz-quiz-trade, morning work, small groups, or review for test.

Each card is numbered for your convenience, and there is a student recording sheet and an answer key included. The cards also include the CCSS in the lower left-hand corner. All task cards are included in color and in black and white for your printing needs.
