Description
Help engage students in a fun way as you reinforce Place Value and Rounding with this 3rd Grade focused Math Escape to the Ice Cream Shop activity. Students will work together to solve 5 task cards per level. 4 Levels are included with a variety of problems. When each level is completed, students receive a one of the four pieces of the maze. Once all levels are finished, they will solve the maze puzzle to successfully escape to the ice cream shop!
Included concepts covered are:
- Place Value with standard form, expanded form, word form, and picture form with base ten blocks.
- Rounding to the nearest ten and hundred
- Comparing numbers using >, <, or =
- Ordering numbers from least to greatest
