Description
This 3rd grade rounding unit has what you need to deliver a seamless, differentiated unit. Everything in this 3rd grade math rounding unit is integrated so that each detailed, daily lesson is specifically aligned to that day's practice sheet and/or enrichment sheet, exit slip(s), and homework.
I utilize guided math/math workshop to implement this rounding unit, but you can teach it how you like. Either way, you have all the components to implement a successful unit and have students achieve mastery with the third grade rounding concepts!
This unit is anywhere from 3 to 5 days depending on if you do one optional lesson and the unit test or not. This is a very short unit compared to most of my math units. I teach this later in the year, so my students catch on quickly, but you can always break down each of the three main lessons into two days a piece if your students need more time to acquire each skill. The order of the unit can be moved around if you desire since it is editable. Everything included also has a Google version.
Out of everything included, I am most excited about the enrichment sheets. I am so sick of seeing differentiation for gifted students that is generic and boring. These sheets are aligned to each day's lesson just like the practice sheets so that your highest math learners are still practicing the daily concept - just at a higher level.
