Detailed Description of St. Patrick's Day Math Story Problems: This resource focuses on whole number multiplication and division, as well as addition/subtraction and mixed-operation story problems. It also includes multiplying by multiples of ten (i.e. 4 x 30), as well as rounding, unknown factor and elapsed time problems. All three levels are aligned to standards 3.OA.A.3, 3.OA.B.6, 3.OA.C.7, 3.OA.D.8, 3.NBT.A.1, 3.NBT.A.2, 3.NBT.A.3, 3.MD.A.1 and 3.MD.D.8.

• Single Clover Level: basic problem-solving skills. Mostly single-step word problems. Multiplication and division within 100. Addition and subtraction within 1,000 with some regrouping. Basic story problem structure with result unknown in most problems and some missing factor problems.
  
• Double Clover Level: intermediate problem-solving skills (on grade-level): One-step and two-step word problems. Multiplication and division within 100. Addition and subtraction within 1,000, most with regrouping. Mixed word problem structure with change unknown and result unknown and missing factor.
  
• Four Leaf Clover Level: advanced problem-solving skills (on grade-level and above grade-level) Multiplication and division within 144. Detailed Description of 3rd Grade Math Cumulative Review/ Test Prep: This review includes:

• 4 weeks of content, and each week has 5 days of review! Each day is labelled as “Day 1” or “Day 2,” rather than Monday-Friday because I know that especially as you get close to testing, there are interruptions to daily schedules/routines so you may not have a full Monday through Friday week. This gives you the flexibility to use this review on any 4 weeks that best meets your students’ and classroom schedule’s needs! The fifth day of every week includes three rigorous multi-step story problems to support students in their independent problem-solving skills which will be crucial for success on state testing.
  • The first four days of each week include 5 questions (including multiple choice, multiple select and free response questions), and each question is aligned to a standard or standards in one of the 5 domains for third grade. The standard name is listed, as well as the domain, so you can look for patterns across the class or areas of reteach.

• The answer key is included so you can easily correct student work. One of the most important parts to using this test review is that you go check the answers with the students and discuss common errors and misunderstandings. This can help you plan for small group instruction in the weeks leading up to testing, as well as look for whole-class trends and areas where you may need to do a whole class reteach.

In this project, students apply their understanding of multiplication and division, addition and subtraction, area and perimeter formulas and geometry concepts to a real-world project situation where they get to design their dream garden!

Detailed Description of Multiplication & Division Math Fact Fluency Flowers:Fact Family Flowers is perfect for any Elementary classroom working on multiplication and division fact fluency! With three different types of activities, students get a variety of practice with their multiplication and division facts in an engaging way!

The first Fact Family Flowers pages require students to recognize fact families. They color in the three numbers that go together to make a fact family and then they record the fact family both ways (multiplication and division).

The second Fact Family Flowers pages include both multiplication and division. Students must find ways to make the number in the center of the flower, using the numbers on the petals. This helps students practice multiplication and division accuracy and fluency.

The Fact Family Flowers game has two versions! Multiplication and Division! This game is a great way for students to apply what they’ve been practicing with their fact families. Students can play individually or with a partner! This product includes both colored and black and white versions so you can laminate them and use them year after year!
