Description
Do your students struggle to identify the relevant information in word problems? This is a middle/high school level problem solving method that I use with my students when we work on particularly challenging problems. It also helps students who have a difficult time interpreting word problems. The four steps are Explore, Plan, Solve, and Examine. Each step in the organizer has detailed guidance and probing questions to help students consider all aspects of each step in this problem solving cycle.
