Grammar? Conventions? Language? Whatever you call this category on TCAP or your state test, this product will help your students prepare! This product contains FOUR different editing task passages with five questions each. I have tagged the common core standards in this product and listed the Tennessee State Standards below.

d. Form and use prepositional phrases.

e. Produce complete sentences; recognize and correct
inappropriate fragments and runons.

f. Use correct capitalization.

g. Use commas and quotation marks to mark direct speech and quotations from a text.

h. Use a comma before a coordinating conjunction in a compound sentence

4.FL.WC.4 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills when encoding words; write legibly

a. Spell grade-appropriate words correctly, consulting references as needed
